Blockchain for Vaccine Distribution

While a potential vaccine is a silver bullet for getting over coronavirus but some experts are concerned about supply chain distribution challenges.

Surely the global supply chain has taken a huge hit over the last several months, which has slowed down distribution channels, heightened labor shortages and increased product delays. So to ensure a fair and equitable process pharmaceutical companies are trying to incorporate blockchain for tracking vaccine distribution.  Though we have numerous advantages to using blockchain for supply chain management but there are still many barriers for integrating it.

Few of the barriers are lack of knowledge and understanding of blockchain, regulatory and legal concerns like data privacy issues, intellectual property, and enforceability of contracts; cost and most important is uncertain ROI.

So many companies still remain skeptical about blockchain for vaccine distribution.
