Education: As a data scientist you will need to keep upgrading and educating yourself to stay updated with latest developments. Along with core competency in the technical aspect, a data scientist also needs to acquire the non technical skills needed to excel in their career.

Communication:  Although data scientists need to be technically excellent, they need to be very effective in communicating their work with the stakeholders. Data scientists need to understand the problem, keep talking to stakeholders from the beginning and explain the findings.

Collaborate: Data scientists must collaborate with their teammates, merging their technical skills. They need to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to better understand business usecase and discover useful insights.
